Create a form

Click here to go to forms in the BEX CMS. On this page, you can click on the 'Add Form' button at the top right. You will then be presented with a dropdown, where you can choose from some ready-made forms or an empty form, which can be compiled as desired.

Form settings

The settings of a form can be edited in the 'Settings' tab. You can set the following options here:

  • The name of the form
  • The text of the button to submit the form
  • Enter the URL of a thank you page
  • Enter a reCAPTCHA score for spam protection.
  • A message to be displayed on successful and incorrect responses.

Form fields

The fields you want to show in the form can be set in the 'Fields' tab. By clicking the 'Create Field' button in the upper right corner you will see a dropdown with all kinds of fields, such as a field for a long or short text, a field where a date can be selected and several checkbox and dropdown fields. In this article you will find a detailed explanation of all these types of fields.

Form responses

When a visitor on the website has submitted a form, this response will be visible in the CMS. Are you curious about the responses to a form? Open a form in the CMS and in the 'Reactions' tab, view all visitors' reactions. By clicking on the date and time in the 'Created on' column, you can see the responses on all requested fields.

All form responses obtained can be shot through to external systems. For example, the BEX CMS has a direct connection to Pipedrive and Zapier. By connecting to Zapier, you have the ability to shoot responses to many external tools, such as Mailchimp, Teamleader, Salesforce and more!

Form Actions

For each form, it is possible to set certain Actions that are executed when a form response is received. In the 'Actions' tab, the following actions can be set:

  • Send email
  • Newsletter subscription
  • Send to Zapier
  • Send to Pipedrive

Did you know that you can copy a form? This is useful when you want to use a form similar to one you are already using. You can copy an existing form by opening the form and clicking the 'Copy' button in the top right corner.
